Pixel Army is seeking a dynamic Lead Strategist for our studio based in Edmonton, AB, to spearhead exceptional marketing strategies and play a pivotal role in account management. Role Overview

The Lead Strategist at Pixel Army holds a key position in driving the success of our marketing team. This role involves overseeing the efforts of the SEO Specialist and Digital Strategist while closely collaborating with the Account Manager to achieve client objectives. As the Lead Strategist, you are responsible for crafting comprehensive marketing strategies, analyzing performance metrics, and delivering strategic guidance to optimize campaign results. Additionally, you provide invaluable support and guidance in implementing SEO strategies, executing digital advertising campaigns, delivering copywriting services, and now, managing key account relationships. 

Responsibilities

 Develop Marketing Strategies:

  • Collaborate with clients and the Account Manager to understand marketing objectives and formulate effective strategies.
  • Conduct thorough market research, competitor analysis, and audience segmentation to inform strategy development.
  • Identify key messaging, positioning, and marketing channels to maximize client visibility and engagement.
  • Create detailed marketing plans, outlining campaign objectives, tactics, timelines, and budget allocation.

Provide Strategic Guidance:

  • Provide strategic direction and guidance to the SEO Specialist and Digital Strategist for campaign execution.
  • Review and optimize campaign strategies to ensure alignment with client goals and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop creative and innovative approaches to marketing challenges.
  • Offer expert advice on SEO techniques, digital advertising platforms, emerging marketing trends, and now, account management strategies.

Performance Analysis and Reporting:

  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, including website analytics, SEO rankings, and advertising metrics.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and optimization based on data-driven insights.
  • Prepare comprehensive performance reports for clients, highlighting key findings and recommended actions.
  • Conduct regular meetings with the marketing team and the Account Manager to review results and discuss strategy adjustments.

Team Collaboration:

  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to the SEO Specialist and Digital Strategist, assisting in their professional development.
  • Collaborate with the Account Manager to ensure seamless integration of marketing strategies with account management activities.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams, such as the creative team, to align marketing strategies with design and content development.

Account Management Implementation:

  • Cultivate and manage client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and understanding of their evolving needs.
  • Work closely with the Account Manager to align marketing strategies with clients’ overall business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities for upselling or expanding services with existing clients.

Implementation:

  • Support & assist the SEO Specialist in implementing SEO strategies and website optimizations.
  • Support & assist the Digital Specialist in implementing advertising strategies.
  • Support & assist the SEO Specialist and Digital Strategist with conversion rate optimization strategies.
  • Provide copywriting services for various marketing materials, including website content, blogs, social media posts, and advertising copy.
  • Oversee and guide social media management, including content creation and scheduling.
Requirements
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, digital advertising platforms (such as Google Ads and social media advertising), and audit & analytics tools.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex strategies to clients and internal teams.
  • Leadership qualities and the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and industry advancements in digital marketing.
  • Google Certified in Analytics, Search, Display, and any other relevant platforms.
